SAGE ALLEY BREWERY & GRILLE
FOUNDERS
The origin of Sage Alley started 8 years in ago when on a trip to Germany we came upon a German couple who took us to a brewhouse in the small town of Tegernsee. Our first experience of small-town charm and fellowship swelled in the immense but hidden hall where friends and family gather to share the days and weeks events over a beer.
Inspired by this trip we returned home with the discussion of one day duplicating the beer house atmosphere in our hometown. Having been a longtime business owner’s in the town of Coopersburg, we purchased 1894 Victorian and began the restoration of this old town charm home into a vibrant brewery for the town residents and communities to enjoy.
Today, Sage Alley will open with our microbrews and chef-inspired food trailer “The Grille at Sage Alley”, truly a dining experience in the food truck industry.
This brewery will need to be a stop on your ale trail – one to not miss, and the atmosphere will draw you to return. Stop in, bring your friends, converse with your family – put the phone down and enjoy what life has given you and us…Each Other!

BREWMASTER
James Baker is the Head Brewer at Sage Alley Brewing. James comes from humble backgrounds, starting his career as a home brewer, he learned from his fellow brewers and reading every book he could buy or borrow. He fell in love with the process of brewing, going from one gallon extract to fifteen gallon all grain in one calendar year. Shortly after that, he began doing volunteer work at Philadelphia local breweries Second Story and Mainstay. Finally he ended up becoming a part-time professional brewer for Punch Buggy Brewing Company for several years before landing his dream job here at Sage Alley. He looks forward to serving our great customers and community with the best beer around.
